John Matsinger, DO, MBA
Executive Vice President & COO, Virtua Health
In his dual role with Virtua Health, Dr. Matsinger is helping transform the system into a more connected, technology-enabled and patient-centered organization. Under his leadership, Virtua is using digital tools and advanced analytics to improve experiences for patients and care providers by streamlining workflows, expanding access and strengthening the quality of care. Dr. Matsinger is also leading Virtua’s expansion into new geographic regions, bringing coordinated care to more individuals and families. In addition, he is helping to redefine care delivery through Virtua’s Hospital at Home program and other services that combine at-home, in-person treatment with virtual support. This approach has improved outcomes and patient experiences. Collectively, these efforts reflect a broader view of technology’s role in health care—one that centers on its ability to enhance relationships rather than replace them. Dr. Matsinger’s vision and commitment to operational excellence are helping build a stronger, more agile Virtua Health for the future. He serves on the board of the New Jersey Hospital Association as a trustee.
Carol Ann Gioia, DNP, MSN, RN, NEA-BC
Chief Nursing Officer, AtlantiCare
Gioia is a distinguished health care executive and system chief nursing officer with more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience across complex academic and integrated health systems. In her current role, she provides enterprise-wide strategic leadership for nursing practice, workforce development, quality outcomes and operational performance across the health system. She is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, strengthening professional practice environments, driving nurse engagement and retention strategies, and aligning nursing operations with organizational priorities and value-based care initiatives. Gioia’s career includes senior executive roles as director of nursing, director of perioperative services, system magnet program coordinator, and director of nursing operations and nurse manager of critical care. She has successfully led organizations through Joint Commission surveys, Magnet re-designation, Level II Trauma and Stroke Center certifications and COVID-19 crisis operations. Her expertise spans large-scale operational redesign, regulatory readiness, patient safety, performance improvement and enterprise nursing strategy. A nationally recognized nurse leader and advocate for nursing excellence, Gioia serves as immediate past president of the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders and is a board member of the Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Brian Calabrese, DO
Medical Oncologist & Hematologist, Lindenberg Cancer & Hematology Center
Dr. Calabrese is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. Throughout his career, he has combined clinical excellence with a genuine commitment to helping patients and their families navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Calabrese completed advanced training in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He has held numerous leadership positions, including president of medical staff, chairman of the medical executive committee and medical director of a regional hematology-oncology program, where he helped expand access to high-quality cancer care and improve patient outcomes. Dr. Calabrese specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cancers and blood disorders, utilizing the latest evidence-based therapies and treatment advances. He believes that exceptional care begins with listening, educating and partnering with patients to create personalized treatment plans that address both medical and personal needs. He is dedicated to delivering innovative cancer care close to home while fostering meaningful relationships built on trust, compassion and respect.
Donna Fahey, MSN, MFA, RN, CNL, CHPN, HNB-BC

Senior Director, Boccolini Institute at Samaritan
With more than 20 years of hospice and palliative care nursing experience, Fahey brings a passion for making a real difference in patients’ lives to her role as senior director of Samaritan’s Boccolini Institute for Education, Research and Innovation. With a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Drexel University, a master’s degree in clinical nurse leadership from Rowan University and a post-graduate certificate in Advanced Studies of Complementary and Integrative Therapies from Drexel University, she is also certified in holistic, hospice and palliative care nursing. Under Fahey’s leadership, the institute is at the forefront of continuing education, offering joint accreditation for inter-professional education and a state-of-the-art learning management system, along with education and experiences that enhance teamwork and collaboration. With a focus that includes community outreach, research initiatives and innovative programs, the institute addresses complex challenges in health care, including social determinants of health and caregiver support. She is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Association, American Nurses Association, American Holistic Nurses Association and New Jersey State Nursing Association.
Mahbod Mohazzebi, MD, FAAP
Executive Council Member, Care Center Vice President, Chair, Market Development, Advocare
Dr. Mohazzebi is an award-winning board-certified pediatrician, health care leader and practice management expert whose impact extends well beyond his exam rooms. With more than 15 years in health care, he operates multiple South Jersey practices, including the one in which he practices, Advocare Kressville Pediatrics, where he is known for building lasting relationships with South Jersey families and caring for children from infancy through young adulthood. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mohazzebi serves as chairperson of market development, clinical coordinator for several programs, and a member of the executive council at Advocare. In these roles, he helps guide strategic growth, supports physician success and governs the organization in vetting and welcoming new practices into the network. Through his leadership, Advocare has grown to more than 275 locations and 900-plus providers, expanding access to high-quality, physician-led care across the region. A passionate advocate for physician-owned, physician-governed healthcare, Dr. Mohazzebi is committed to preserving trust and strengthening community-based care, ensuring patients and families continue to receive personalized, accessible care rooted in what matters most: their well-being.
Margie Barham
Director of Public Relations and Special Projects, NJ Health Hospice and Palliative Care
Barham is a dynamic health care leader who oversees organization-wide communications, media relations and special projects for NJ Health. As she has done for other health care organizations, Barham has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s public identity while strengthening internal culture and deepening community engagement. Through strategic storytelling and outreach, she has expanded awareness of serious illness, caregiving, grief and end-of-life care—helping normalize critical health care conversations and reinforcing NJ Health’s mission of compassionate service. Barham has spearheaded innovative staff and volunteer recognition efforts, enhanced caregiver communication strategies and helped launch a volunteer-led caregiver check-in program that significantly improved support for patients and families. Her work directly contributes to better care experiences and stronger connections between health care teams and the communities they serve. Barham partners across clinical, volunteer, chaplaincy and administrative teams to foster inclusion, pride and engagement. Her servant leadership—grounded in integrity, resilience and emotional intelligence—bridges strategy and patient-centered outcomes. An award-winning writer and artist, she holds a communications degree from Rowan University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Mike D’Amico, LCSW
Vice President, Oaks Integrated Care
D’Amico oversees ambulatory and acute behavioral health services while contributing to enterprise strategy, innovation and business development. With more than 15 years of experience, he has served children and families, individuals with serious mental illness, and people with substance use and co-occurring disorders across ambulatory, acute and community-based settings. A recognized leader in behavioral health care transformation, D’Amico has played a key role in implementing integrated models of care across New Jersey, most notably the nationally groundbreaking Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. He helped lead Oaks as one of the first providers in the nation to implement the federally designated program, helping transform behavioral health care delivery nationwide. He also advances policy and legislative reform at local, state and national levels. D’Amico serves on the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services Professional Advisory Council and was appointed to Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s transition team, serving on the Affordable Healthcare Advisory Task Force. D’Amico earned his B.A. in Sociology and MSW from Rutgers University, where he also serves as adjunct faculty.
Steven Bromley, MD, FAAN
Founder & Executive Director, Bromley Brain & Mind Institute
Dr. Bromley leads a multidisciplinary team specializing in the comprehensive care of complex neurologic, neuroimmunologic and neuropsychiatric disorders. Clinical areas of focus include dementia, migraine, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, polyneuropathy, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disease, CRPS, disorders of smell and taste, and integrative/functional medicine. Dr. Bromley is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as Headache Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, where he served as chief resident during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, followed by fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Over a career spanning more than 25 years in both academic and private practice settings, Dr. Bromley served as director of the Virtua Neuroscience program in South Jersey and has been principal investigator in numerous clinical trials. He has lectured nationally and contributed to the launch and education of multiple neurologic and neuropsychiatric therapies across the fields of epilepsy, migraine, multiple sclerosis, dementia, neuromuscular disease and neurodegeneration.
Mike Murphy
Vice President of Sales, AmeriHealth
In his role as vice president of sales at AmeriHealth, Murphy plays a critical role in advancing access to high-quality, affordable health care across South Jersey. He leads sales strategy and growth efforts across a complex and competitive marketplace, partnering closely with employers, brokers and community organizations to ensure health coverage solutions meet the evolving needs of the region. Murphy most recently served as sales director at AmeriHealth New Jersey, and was responsible for new business sales and broker development in the large group segments for fully insured and self-funded customers. He also developed product strategy to keep AmeriHealth New Jersey at the forefront of the large group market. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style and deep understanding of the South Jersey market. Under his leadership, AmeriHealth has strengthened relationships with local businesses and stakeholders while supporting initiatives focused on community health, engagement and long-term sustainability. His work reflects a commitment not only to business performance but also to improving health outcomes and expanding access to care for individuals, families and employers throughout South Jersey.
Trina D. Banerjee, MD
Founder & President, Banerjee Kidney Center
Dr. Banerjee lives by her office motto: “Giving you the personal and gentle care you deserve.” This credo guides not only her but also the entire office staff as they take care of patients with kidney disease. After being accepted to medical school while a senior in high school, Dr. Banerjee went on to become a board-certified nephrologist who completed her fellowship training at NYU. Whether caring for office, dialysis and hospital patients or teaching as core faculty for nephrology at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, Dr. Banerjee is known for her compassion and dedication to improving patients’ quality of life. A respected leader among her colleagues, Dr. Banerjee received the “Golden Apple” Chester Kaletkowski Mentor of the Year/Best Teaching Specialist Award, voted on by residents multiple years. Dr. Banerjee has more than a decade of experience taking care of patients with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones and electrolyte disorders. Passionate about nephrology, she remains committed to staying current with the latest treatments and advancements, ensuring her patients receive the highest quality care.
Aaron Chang, MSHA, FACHE
Executive Vice President, President of Jefferson Health – East Region
Since joining Jefferson Health in October 2023, Chang has brought vast experience in the academic, nonprofit and private sectors, along with a passion for improving community health. As president, he is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Jefferson’s three New Jersey acute care hospitals in Cherry Hill, Stratford and Washington Township, recently ranked among the top 10 in New Jersey on U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” list and recipients of “A” grades in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Report. A results-oriented executive, he comes to Jefferson from Catholic Health in New York, where he was president of Sisters of Charity Hospitals and central market leader.
Cathy Bennett
President & CEO, New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA)
Bennett is a leader and convener of New Jersey’s health care community, including NJHA’s nearly 400 members across the care continuum. Under her guidance, NJHA pursues its mission to improve the health of New Jerseyans, and provides industry leadership on quality and patient safety, population health, data insights, education and advocacy. Prior to joining NJHA, Bennett served as New Jersey’s 20th Health Commissioner under Gov. Chris Christie. Her legacy includes creating an Office of Population Health and integrating across state agencies for a more coordinated, holistic approach to health in New Jersey. Her previous government roles included serving as CIO and director of policy and strategic planning in the New Jersey Department of Health.
Warren E. Moore, FACHE

President & COO, Inspira Health
Moore joined Inspira Health in 2021 as executive vice president and COO and earlier this year, he was named president and COO of the 8,000-employee-strong health system. Moore has helped advance Inspira’s mission to deliver safe, high-quality, compassionate care. In his new expanded role, he oversees operations across Inspira’s hospitals, health centers and outpatient locations. He also supports strategic partnerships that strengthen clinical expertise and expand access to care throughout South Jersey. Moore is known for his focus on clinical excellence, patient safety and operational performance. Under his leadership, Inspira has developed a more coordinated system of care, with teams aligned around shared priorities and a consistent patient experience.
Janice K. Delgiorno, APN, MSN, ACNP-BC, CCRN, TCRN
Surgical Critical Care, Trauma Surgery, Cooper University Health Care
Delgiorno serves as trauma program director and an advanced practice nurse specializing in surgical critical care and trauma surgery at Cooper Health, home to the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Southern New Jersey and the region’s largest and busiest trauma center. A highly respected clinical leader, Delgiorno is dedicated to advancing trauma care, improving patient outcomes and supporting multidisciplinary teams that care for some of the area’s most critically injured patients. Board-certified as an acute care nurse practitioner, her credentials reflect her extensive expertise in critical care and trauma nursing. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her commitment to clinical excellence, patient advocacy and education.

Andrews is an accomplished health care executive with over two decades of experience in leading strategic initiatives and heart and vascular service line success.
