Brian Smeal, MD, has been named the medical director of The Center for Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Washington Township. Smeal brings 11 years of experience to Kennedy Health Center.

Maple Shade-based Haefele Flanagan CPA Firm, one of South Jersey’s top accounting firms, has acquired Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based Ratner and Associates. The partnership will prove to expand their services to a wider range of clients.

NAI Mertz’s Mount Laurel location has appointed Nilgün Foley as sales associate. Foley was raised in Instanbul, Turkey and brings significant cross-cultural business experience to the company.

The Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders welcomes the addition of Scott Griscom. Griscom is a resident of Mannington Township and comes to the board with an understanding of community needs.

Grayling L. Johnson, project executive at GREYHAWK, has joined the board of trustees at Virtua Health System. Working closely with Virtua senior leadership, Johnson brings 25 years of experience in architectural design and construction administration.

David A. Kindlick has been appoint- ed as the new chairman of Virtua’s board of trustees. Kindlick has been a board member for nine years prior, serving as treasurer for six years and chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee.
