Virtua Health has been recognized with being the first in the Philadelphia region and South Jersey to provide robotic-assisted spine surgery combined with a GPS-like navigation software, called Spine Guidance by Stryker, that enhances safety by minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding structures.
Shore Medical Center’s 2025 Surgical Chairman's Award has been presented to Cathy Bennett, president and CEO of the New Jersey Hospital Association. The award, presented annually by Shore’s Department of Surgery for 20 years, recognizes individuals or organizations making a lasting impact on the hospital and its mission.
The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has recognized Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital for its expertise and commitment to high-quality care for patients undergoing transcatheter valve repair and replacement procedures. The hospital earned Transcatheter Valve Certification in December 2025 following a comprehensive evaluation of its multidisciplinary team structure, formalized training processes, shared decision-making practices and performance in national clinical registries.
