Dr. Stephen Trzeciak, the Edward D. Viner Endowed Chief of Medicine and Medical Director for the Adult Health Institute at Cooper University Health Care, was recognized with the inaugural Schwartz Compassion Champion Award by the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare.
Virtua Health and ChristianaCare have terminated their letter of intent signed in July 2025. The two providers had explored the possibility of joining forces to create a regional nonprofit health system across New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Rowan College of South Jersey recently celebrated a $10,000 endowment established by the Lauren Rose Albert Foundation. The money will be used to provide a $500 scholarship each year to a student who is pursuing a degree in health care.
Jefferson Health recognized its 2025 Daisy Award winners as Michael Graham Jr., Kaela Sierra and Rachel Tigol. Additionally, the health care system honored its Being Extraordinary Everyday award winners: Nancy Farah, Anita Giberson, Zoe Rapson and Nancy Robinson.
