Last month, Kym Leiby observed a career milestone, with her role at Lerepco changing from VP Sales & Marketing to Chief Revenue, Commercial, Risk & Compliance Officer.

With a background in not only the exhaustive suite of services that Lerepco provides but also previous experience in risk management, owning an insurance agency and handing a global company’s pensions, Leiby is excited for this next chapter.

“I will be leading initiatives that drive secure, ethical and profitable growth. My focus will be to align revenue strategy, risk management and compliance frameworks so our clients can adopt technology with confidence,” she explains. “The risk and compliance piece is definitely in my wheelhouse. Coupled with sales, it’s a home run for me.”

Leiby knows “the vocabulary to reach leadership,” translating tech-speak into terms, outcomes and goals that help executives understand technological infrastructure and cybersecurity options that best fit their organizations.

“I approach it as a ‘What if?’ scenario, not from a technical standpoint,” she begins. “What if you had a breach? What would happen to your employees? What would happen to your business? Do you have cyber insurance? We’ll just have a conversation, because you’re not just another a number to us. You’re on our team—your success is our success!”
