
For the second consecutive year, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University earned (CMSRU) high ratings in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Medical Schools for Primary Care and Research. The 2025 report recognized CMSRU with a Tier 2 rating in primary care and Tier 3 in research—“the highest Primary Care ranking of any medical school in New Jersey and the New York Metropolitan area,” according to the school’s dean Annette C. Reboli, MD.
South Jersey Industries (SJI) announced on April 14 that it has received the Internship Partner Appreciation Award from Stockton University at the school’s annual breakfast that recognizes both individuals and organizations proactively and positively shaping students’ futures.

Accounting firm WilkinGuttenplan is partnering with Rowan University to support a post-baccalaureate certificate of accounting CPA Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration designed to offer aspiring accountants a pathway to their license via both hands-on experience and academic excellence.
On April 24, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants awarded a total of $190,000 in scholarships to 27 college students and 13 high schoolers. Local recipients represented Washington Township and Northern Burlington County Regional high schools, Stockton University and Rowan University.
Rutgers University and King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, signed a letter of intent on April 27 which establishes a framework for the two institutions’ collaboration in public policy research and executive education.
