Cooper University Health Care has opened the first phase of its newest and largest outpatient campus at the Moorestown Mall, a three-story, state-of-the-art outpatient campus offering more than 26 medical specialties, a range of diagnostic services, nearly 100 exam rooms and more. The Infectious Disease Society of America has recognized all five Virtua Health hospitals with the Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence. After observing Nov. 30 as AtlantiCare Day in Atlantic County, the health care system kicked off a full year of celebration highlighting all that AtlantiCare has achieved since the system opened its doors 125 years prior. Three Inspira locations have attained American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition, the highest national honor for professional nursing. Deborah Heart and Lung Center was named a 2023 Top Teaching Hospital by The Leapfrog Group in recognition of its outstanding patient safety and quality of care.
