Inspira Medical Center Vineland, part of Inspira Health, welcomed an 11-foot-tall, 12-foot-wide blue steel heart to honor local health care workers recently. Aligned with Inspira’s Blue Hearts for Health Care Heroes campaign, the blue steel heart will serve as a permanent recognition of the dedication and compassion of all health care workers in the fight against COVID-19.

 

Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s non-invasive vascular laboratory has been granted a three-year term of accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in vascular testing for the areas of peripheral arterial testing, peripheral venous testing and extracranial cerebrovascular testing. 

 

Both Cooper University Health Care and Virtua Health have been recognized as some of America’s Best Employers by Forbes magazine. The pair are two out of only five health care systems in New Jersey to be included in the list. 

 

AtlantiCare recently earned the Joint Commission’s recertification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center for the third time.

Rowan University’s board of trustees has approved the creation of a new School of Nursing and Health Professions. Dr. Peter Rattigan, a Rowan faculty member since 2000 and professor of health and exercise science, will serve as the school’s founding dean.
