“Rowan College of South Jersey is currently hosting a vaccination mega-site on its Gloucester campus, assisting the many South Jersey individuals seeking to be vaccinated. I am optimistic for the future of our students and community as the college opens its doors to be part of the solution. As we evaluate the post-pandemic needs of our community, the college’s growing internship program, expansion of academic certificates and affordable educational offerings support South Jersey’s efforts to rebound and provide residents the tools for a rewarding future.”

With thousands of new COVID-19 cases, as well as hospitalizations, last week Gov. Phil Murphy signed an executive order extending the state’s public health emergency by 30 days.

An anonymous Rutgers University-Camden faculty member gave a $3.5 million gift to create the Rayman L. Solomon Scholars program in honor of the school’s former dean. The program aims to help attract high-achieving students to Rutgers Law School in Camden.
