Two Jefferson Health nurses in New Jersey were recipients of the March of Dimes 2019 New Jersey Nurse of the Year Awards. Alison Brencher, BSN, RN, CMSRN won the Rising Star Award, while Barbara Midure-Crofton, MSN, RN, RNC-NIC won the Neonatal and Pediatrics Award—the second straight year a Jefferson Health nurse in New Jersey won in that category.

Inspira Health
has earned national recognition as a 2019 Success Story Award winner for its transformation as a High Reliability Organization. Inspira began the transformation to become a High Reliability Organization in 2015 to reduce preventable patient harm by establishing a teamwork-based safety culture.

Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital
was named a Top Teaching Hospital by The Leapfrog Group. The hospital was chosen as one of only 56 top teaching hospitals in the country.

Cooper University Health Care
has been recognized by the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program2019 for achieving meritorious outcomes for surgical patient care.

Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital
has been named to Watson Health’s list of 2020 Top50 Cardiovascular Hospitals.

InSight Telepsychiatry
and Regroup Telehealth have merged to become the largest telepsychiatry service provider in the U.S. The merger brings together a large network of providers and a group of clinical and executive leaders to allow for increased delivery of mental health services across the country in response to a nationwide shortage of specialists and a rising need for behavioral health services.

Jefferson Health New Jersey
recently accepted the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE) Proficiency Award. This award represents Jefferson Health in New Jersey’s next tier in its journey to achieve Baldrige Performance Excellence, after receiving the MAAPE Commitment Award in 2017.

Inspira Health
and Philips, a diagnostic imaging and patient monitoring solutions company, have announced a $50 million strategic partnership to standardize patient monitoring and drive innovation in diagnostic imaging solutions in order to enhance patient care and improve clinical workflow performance.
