TD Bank announced two new appointments to its residential lending team: William Westdyk as regional sales manager and Robert Nardone as mortgage sales manager. They will be responsible for growing residential loan origination in the state by assembling teams of experienced mortgage loan officers.
 
Hanaa A. Hamdi, Ph.D has joined New Jersey Community Capital as its new direction of health impact investment strategies and partnerships.
 
Conner Strong & Buckelew announced it has added risk management expert Lisa Vanore to the firm’s claims team. Vanore joins the firm from Philadelphia’s largest casino where she most recently served as the Director of Risk Management. Serving as a Claims Consultant, Vanore will use her nearly 16 years of enterprise-level risk management experience to advise clients throughout the insurance claims process and provide advice on best practices on managing their risk.
 
Wohlsen Construction has announced the addition of three new construction professionals: David Bentz and Scott Lennox join the team as senior project managers and Ryan Andersen as superintendent.
 
Erin Warwick has joined Strategic Funding Alternatives, LLC (SFA) as vice president of leasing and asset management.

American Heritage Credit Union Chairperson Cecilia B. Grady is retiring from the board after 42 years of service.
 
Baby-friendly USA, Inc. has designated Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly and Virtua Voorhees as Baby-Friendly birth facilities. This recognition signifies that Virtua has implemented BFUSA’s Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding, which help mothers attain the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to successfully initiate and continue breastfeeding.
 
Thomas Murray, president and chief executive officer of Franklin Bank, will retire effective March 31, 2020. Mark Edwards, currently chief financial officer will assume the role of CEO effective April 1, 2020.
 
American Water Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Linda Sullivan will retire August 1. Susan Hardwick will join the company in June and will succeed Sullivan as CFO on July 1.

The Alloy Silverstein Group recently announced that Payroll Express Inc. of Northfield has merged into Abacus Payroll, Inc. effective May 1.
 
A number of South Jersey hospitals received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group’s spring 2019 hospital safety grades: Inspira Medical Center Elmer, Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, Jefferson Stratford Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. The Safety Grade, ranging from A to F, rate hospitals across the country based on their performance in preventing medical errors, infections and other harms among patients in their care.
 
The American Red Cross of Southern New Jersey and AssuredPartners Insurance Management will host their annual spring blood drive May 30 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the AssuredPartners Insurance headquarters located at 1317 Route 73 in Mount Laurel.
