Bart Mueller, former executive director of South Jersey Transportation Authority, took on the position of director of port development for U.S. Facilities Inc. in Philadelphia.

Durand Academy and Community Services of Mount Laurel announced the addition of their newest board member, Lucille Wurtz, customer relationship management at Conigent, Inc. in Haddonfield.

Innovative Benefit Planning, LLC in Cinnaminson welcomed Elizabeth Silver as their newest employee. Silver will join the employee benefit planning and financial services company as an account manager, working closely with clients and providers.

Cinnaminson’s VCI Mobility acquired Performance Vans, Inc. of Woodbury. VCI, with two additional locations in Pennsylvania, sells new and used handicap accessible van rentals and services.

Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLC of Mount Laurel announced the addition of Darren C. Audino as the firm’s newest associate. Audino will focus on personal injury litigation defense for the law firm.

The Cherry Hill accounting firm of Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co. announced a sponsorship with PGA Tour member Cameron Percy. Percy, an Australian player, has 10 years of PGA experience.

Cherry Hill law firm Ballard Spahr received Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum in June. The recognition is given to law firms with a female presence in at least 10 percent of firm chairs or office managing partners, 20 percent of equity partners, and 25 percent of practice leaders or department heads.

Ray Angelini, Inc. of Sewell was recently recognized with the Division of Public Safety & Occupational Safety & Health Award. Presented at the Governor’s Annual Occupational Safety and Health Awards, the honor was earned for Ray Angelini, Inc.’s two consecutive years without a loss in time due to work-related illnesses or injuries.

Haefele Flanagan president and managing partner Thomas P. Fee Jr. was awarded the Kaleidoscope Award from the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter. Fee, who was honored at a golf classic in his name, was recognized for continuously being one of the highest grossing fundraisers for the last six years.

KLA Marketing Associates in Cherry Hill’s Principal Kimberly Alford Rice (pictured) was selected to join the panel for the Camden County Bar Association’s New Jersey Trust and Business Accounting and Law Office Management CLE.

Homewatch CareGivers of South Jersey, located in Westmont, received its Home Care Pulse Certification, officially certifying the company in home care quality. The program operates primarily off of client and employee satisfaction scores in an effort to increase customer satisfaction.

Crossroads Programs, a non-profit with administrative offices in Willingboro, welcomed four new board members to help promote their mission of empowering youth who are homeless, abandoned, abused, or at-risk: Justin Ackerman, business development associate with Conner, Strong & Buckelew; Denise Hollingsworth, attorney with the state’s division of criminal justice; Kristi Howell-Ikeda, president/CEO of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce; and Stephen Resinski, senior vice president of Colliers International.

United Space Alliance LLC (USA) named JRH Electronics LLC its 2011 Small Disadvantaged Business Supplier of the Year. JRH Electronics, of Marlton, was recognized, in part, for its work with USA on the next generation of manned deep-space flight for NASA. JRH Electronics is a vital supplier to USA of complex, high-reliability interconnect and cable harness products used on the Orion MPCV (Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle).

Burlington County College announced that ARAMARK Conference Centers, the largest conference center management company in the U.S., took over the operations at The Enterprise Center at BCC, located on the college’s Mount Laurel campus, effective July 1.

Radwell International, Inc.’s President and CEO Brian Radwell was named the 2012 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Greater Philadelphia region. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Lexus of Cherry Hill owner James S. Richardson was awarded the Seven Seals Award by the New Jersey Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The award is given at the discretion of the NJESGR chairman to recognize the efforts by a citizen, business or organization whose supportive actions have benefited all of the Guard/Reserve components in a significant manner.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties’ Program Director Erica McLeod received the Margaret R. Slack Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. During the recent National Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., McLeod was recognized for her hard work and professional dedication to the children of South Jersey.

Each Friday between Feb. 17 and March 31, Pennsauken’s Apex IT Group, in collaboration with Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia, visited companies across the area to collect computer equipment donations. Apex accumulated used computers and items such as keyboards, printers and servers, then dropped the donated items off at Goodwill. Through Reconnect, a Dell-Goodwill alliance, all donated computer equipment was shipped to a third-party asset recovery company, where it was recycled responsibly, protecting the environment.

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center was recently among the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation and the only hospital in South Jersey to receive the Women’s Health Excellence Award by HealthGrades. Of the 4,783 acute care hospitals in the country, Lourdes was among a select group of only 176 hospitals to be identified as top performers.
