Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice of Marlton welcomed Sherri Hilt (pictured) as their new professional relations manager. Hilt, of Glassboro, will oversee sales and marketing and promote hospice awareness. The nonprofit also brought on Mount Laurel residents Amy Maricondi and Joanna Graham as professional relations coordinators.

LaVan Law in Moorestown announced Alaina Gregorio of Cherry Hill has joined the firm as an associate. Gregorio will concentrate her practice in the areas of business, labor and employment law.

The staffing agency Brooks Personnel, Inc., of Voorhees, has been acquired by fellow staffing agency Perry Resources, Inc., of Marlton. Both of Brooks’ two divisions, Brooks Personnel and Brooks Search Groups, will join Perry Resources.

Conigent, Inc., a technology consulting firm in Haddonfield, hired Brian Crozier as vice president of sales. Crozier has more than 12 years of experience in sales, marketing and management for organizations in the IT field.

Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., in Cherry Hill, added two new accountants to its staff: Kristel Lauk, of Deptford, and Jeremy Ukrainski, of Medford.

Dr. Suk-Chung Yoon, of Cherry Hill, a William R. Bailey Endowed professor and chair of the Department of Computer Science at Widener University, was appointed to a new position at Widener as associate provost for experiential learning and global engagement. While he will maintain his current academic roles, he will also oversee the development of the Office of Experiential Learning and chair the new Experiential Learning Council.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice announced the addition of Rob Curley, South Jersey market president of TD Bank, to its board of trustees, as well as the installation of its 2012 officers: Chair Carl Buehler, vice president of LRP&P Graphics; Vice Chair Liz Thomas, co-founder and CEO of Thomas/Boyd Communications; Treasurer Michael Bozek, senior accounting manager of OKI Data Americas, Inc.; and Secretary Cliff Mancine, vice president of Mancine Optical.

Cherry Hill’s Hutchinson Plumbing Heating Cooling received the 2012 President’s Award from Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers. The award is given to a dealer that has achieved excellence in product promotions and customer satisfaction. Hutchinson has been in business for 60 years.

Howard Sobel, of The Law Offices of Howard N. Sobel, P.A. in Voorhees, was named New Jersey Super Lawyer in General Litigation for 2012. He was selected based on peer nominations, third-party research, and evaluations from Super Lawyers.

Carolyn R. Sleeper, shareholder of Parker McCay, in Mount Laurel, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the civil and criminal justice systems in New Jersey. Sleeper will attend her first trustee meeting in June.

The director of Senior Corps at Gloucester County College, Helen Antonucci, was awarded the 2012 Patricia C. Donohue Leadership Award by the American Association for Women in Community Colleges. The award was given to five recipients who displayed mentorship and inspiration in their positions.

Sungsoo Kim, professor of accounting at the Rutgers School of Business-Camden, was named president of the American Accounting Association Mid-Atlantic Region for 2012-2013. Kim, of Cherry Hill, will serve six states and 800 members as president of the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Marvin Samson Foundation donated $1 million to Virtua, based in Marlton, to establish a centralized medication distribution service for the health system’s four hospitals. Marvin Samson, a Moorestown resident, is a generic drug entrepreneur and a member of the Virtua Board of Trustees. The system will allow Virtua pharmacists to spend more time consulting with patients.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency honored Andrew Kricun, executive director of the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority (CCMUA), with their Environmental Quality Award for achievements in protecting public health and the environment. During his tenure at the agency, water quality performance has improved 40 percent while residential rates have remained unchanged.

PHH Mortgage Corp., in Mount Laurel, entered into a agreement to provide private label end-to-end mortgage origination services and loan servicing to HSBC Bank USA N.A., in New York, by the first quarter of 2013.

Somerdale’s Cooper Towne Center won a Smart Growth Award from New Jersey Future, an organization that advocates for more livable places and open space through Smart Growth initiatives. Cooper Towne Center, formerly Lions Head Plaza, was almost completely abandoned before it was revitalized in recent years as a mixed-use shopping center.

Haddonfield Internal Medicine consolidated its two-office practice into one new location just 100 yards north of Westmont Station. The location is ideal for those taking the train or riding the bus, and the office’s extended hours allow travelers to visit the doctor before or after work.

The Rothman Institute recently celebrated the opening of its new 33,000-square-foot Marlton facility on Route 73. The building contains 45 exam rooms, X-ray and epidural injection suites, and 70 staff.
