Profile: A Business Resort

by Randall Clark
When it comes to Atrium Executive Center, just bring your briefcase. They’ll do the rest.

When you open the polished glass door to Atrium Executive Center, peering up at the luxurious sky-lit lobby and being greeted with a smile by the receptionist, you know you have arrived.

The 27,000-square-foot Class A building—the largest of its kind in South Jersey—sits in a prime location, just off Route 73 in Mount Laurel. The Executive Center concept seems so new and cutting edge, but Atrium has been doing it since 1988.

With Atrium, providing office solutions has always meant more than a place to put your things; it is like a business resort where your office comes fully furnished, their staff can answer your phone, create your next PowerPoint, schedule your day, and balance your books. Whether your need is for office space leased in increments of hours or years, Atrium has the solution.

“We are trying to keep on the pulse of what people need and want in regards to their business, and we are finding people need more flexibility in regards to office space,” says Atrium Executive Director Laura Hart. “Ultimately, we want our clients to concentrate on their business while we do the rest.”

Hart points out that clients have found the streamlined, flexible and competitively priced packages create an ideal environment for them to focus on the important work.

“Our virtual solution fits well with home-based and startup companies. Our meeting space is perfect for any type of company as we have a full, self-contained conference center. We offer furnished single offices and cluster suites as options for satellite offices and larger companies. A business has all the possibilities to grow and change here,” Hart says. “The rates are all agreed upon ahead of time so there are no surprises. Your success is our success.”

Hart is proud to introduce a revamped Internet presence at Atriumec.com, where clients can connect to Atrium through its new social networking presence on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

The center has also expanded its Business Services offerings to include human resources consulting, bookkeeping, accounting, website development, SEO consulting and graphic design, in addition to mainstays such as administrative assistance, mail services, an IT department, security and janitorial services.

The business climate can change seemingly overnight, notes Deborah Locacio, Atrium Executive Center’s director of leasing, and Atrium prides itself on filling any need their clients may encounter, fast.

“It is a great place to turn in this economy, when people are not always certain how things are going to pan out and they need flexibility,” Locacio says. “If clients need to upgrade or downsize quickly, we are prepared for that. Within a day’s time, you can be set up to do business.”

A monthly service fee includes utilities, phone, Internet, reception and a shared fax—as well as kitchen, break room and bathroom supplies. There is complimentary coffee available every day and Friday bagels are on the house. Each space is fully furnished and work-ready.

When referring to Atrium’s Virtual Solution, Locacio says, “Atrium is setting the standard.”

Virtual tenants use the executive center name as an impressive address without having to clock in to the office there each day. Atrium offers Virtual Solutions starting at $100.

Ringed by upscale hotels and restaurants, Atrium also provides an accessible location to host meetings, seminars or trainings. Their on-site meeting coordinator will greet attendees, set up equipment and arrange catering. Rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, white boards, flip charts, LCD and overhead projectors.

An added perk of an Atrium lease is being part of the ALLIANCE Business Centers Network (ABCN), which means year-round access to office space in cities across the country and around the world. There are more than 650 locations in the ABCN network.

As client Suzette Martella of Business Centers of America explains, “While vacationing in California, unexpectedly I found myself in need of office accommodations for a day.

One call to Atrium and my problem was solved. By utilizing their nationwide network affiliation, they were able to locate an office for me instantly.”

Unveiling their renewed corporate logo and a revamped identity, Hart says right now is a very exciting time, and they are prepared to prove the Atrium difference.

“We have this wonderful level of expertise and an exceptional professional environment that we want to share,” Hart says. “We have built an incredible foundation that we will continue to improve upon.”

With so much already choreographed by the Atrium Executive Center, all you will need to do is bring your briefcase.
