Comings and Goings Bancroft, in Haddonfield, named two new vice presidents recently to oversee fundraising and marketing within the company. Samuel B. Young was named vice president of development, while Rex Carney was named Bancroft’s vice president of marketing and communications.

Lourdes Medical Associates Neurology Consultants in Cherry Hill welcomed Dr. Rajat Kumar to their medical staff. Kumar specializes in neurology and stroke care and is board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology.

Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro appointed Dr. Lisa A. Medvetz as director of the bariatric and metabolic surgery pro­gram. Medvetz will specialize in advanced bariatric procedures.

Edward Petrosky and Rich Shakarjian joined 1st Colonial National Bank as senior members. Petrosky is the new chief lender, bringing 35 years of experience in banking with money center, reg­ional, community banks and thrifts. Shakarjian joined as a senior residential lender.

James N. Hogan was sworn-in to serve a second term as vice chairman of the Delaware River and Bay Authority. Hogan has been serving as the Gloucester County clerk since 1998.

Cross County Connection Transportation Management Association (CCCTMA), based in Marlton, launched their brand new Transit Locator App. Designed to help residents get around South Jersey, the app shows available bus routes, stops and rail stations in the vicinity of the user through GPS.

Shereen C. Chen, a partner with Hyland Levin LLP in Marlton, was selected as one of ALM Media’s New Jersey Women Leaders in the Law. Shereen was credited for her work in immigration law.

Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) announced the opening of Essensuals London. The high-end hairdresser chain is the first location to debut on the East Coast. The official opening was held on Sept. 25.

At the start of October, Gloucester County College established a new partnership with Neumann University in Aston, Pa. The agreement creates a dual enrollment process for the schools, allowing qualified students to transfer credits directly into a bachelor’s degree program while providing new scholarship incentives with the transfer.

Virtua President and CEO Richard P. Miller was selected as the winner of the 2012 CEO Information Technology Achievement Award from Modern Healthcare and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. He was selected as one of three out of 63 nominees by a panel of judges for his commitment to leadership with information technology.

Atrium Executive Center in Mount Laurel announced a partnership with IT management and consulting provider Tech Please and with Web design and digital marketing company B Two Design. The alliance will add IT, Web marketing and digital services to the center, which provides office and business services to South Jersey companies.

TD Bank, headquartered in Cherry Hill, received the 2012 Green Power Leadership Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as one of only 12 organizations in the country to receive this honor. The annual Green Power Leadership Award recognizes the “country’s leading green power purchasers for their commitment and contribution to helping advance the development of the nation’s voluntary green power market,” organizers say.

On Oct. 4, the New Jersey Senate declared it Bayada Day throughout the state, commemorating with a proclamation and tribute to the nurses, therapists, and home health aides who “have fostered superior quality in health care delivery ... and unwavering devotion to their patients and their families.” Moorestown-based Bayada is the state’s largest provider of home health care services, employing 7,500 people in New Jersey.
