Cherry Hill law firm Ballard Spahr received Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum in June. The recognition is given to law firms with a female presence in at least 10 percent of firm chairs or office managing partners, 20 percent of equity partners, and 25 percent of practice leaders or department heads.
Ray Angelini, Inc. of Sewell was recently recognized with the Division of Public Safety & Occupational Safety & Health Award. Presented at the Governor’s Annual Occupational Safety and Health Awards, the honor was earned for Ray Angelini, Inc.’s two consecutive years without a loss in time due to work-related illnesses or injuries.

United Space Alliance LLC (USA) named JRH Electronics LLC its 2011 Small Disadvantaged Business Supplier of the Year. JRH Electronics, of Marlton, was recognized, in part, for its work with USA on the next generation of manned deep-space flight for NASA. JRH Electronics is a vital supplier to USA of complex, high-reliability interconnect and cable harness products used on the Orion MPCV (Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle).
Burlington County College announced that ARAMARK Conference Centers, the largest conference center management company in the U.S., took over the operations at The Enterprise Center at BCC, located on the college’s Mount Laurel campus, effective July 1.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties’ Program Director Erica McLeod received the Margaret R. Slack Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. During the recent National Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., McLeod was recognized for her hard work and professional dedication to the children of South Jersey.
Each Friday between Feb. 17 and March 31, Pennsauken’s Apex IT Group, in collaboration with Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia, visited companies across the area to collect computer equipment donations. Apex accumulated used computers and items such as keyboards, printers and servers, then dropped the donated items off at Goodwill. Through Reconnect, a Dell-Goodwill alliance, all donated computer equipment was shipped to a third-party asset recovery company, where it was recycled responsibly, protecting the environment.
Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center was recently among the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation and the only hospital in South Jersey to receive the Women’s Health Excellence Award by HealthGrades. Of the 4,783 acute care hospitals in the country, Lourdes was among a select group of only 176 hospitals to be identified as top performers.
