$495 million: Price offered by New Jersey-based Bed Bath & Beyond to purchase Cost Plus Inc., owner of World Market and Cost Plus Imports.
$1,000,000: Donation to WomenHeart: National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease from Burlington Coat Factory. Funds were raised through the retailer’s Red Dress event, held from February through Easter in support of women’s heart health.
$35 million: Increase in South Jersey Industries’ Capital Investment Recovery Tracker program, approved by the Board of Public Utilities, which helps accelerate planned capital expenditures that enhance the delivery of safe and reliable service and create jobs.
