Executive Director of the Lourdes Cardiovascular Institute and Vice President of Cardiac Services, Reginald J. Blaber, M.D., was recently appointed to a two-year term on the New Jersey Cardiovascular Health Advisory Panel by Acting State Health Commissioner Cathleen Bennett.

Michael G. Donahue III is now a managing shareholder of the law firm Stark & Stark. His practice focuses on liability and other personal injury litigations, alongside with Donahue’s dedication to preserving the legal rights of individuals and access to the courts.

Julie Acton will be honored as New Jersey Freeholder of the Year for her tireless energy and dedication to helping Salem County residents, shaping policy and significant contributions in public service to benefit the constituents for the past nine years. Acton will be recognized at the upcoming NJ Conference of Mayor’s Annual Conference.

As of March 1, Karen Forst was given the title of director of grants and Fundraising at Laura Bishop Communications LLC. Forst spent eight years with the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary (PDE), where she most recently was the director of institutional giving; she spent seven years as PDE’s development director.

Vice President of Marketing & External Relations at Kennedy Health Lisa Morina received the American Hospital Association’s Grassroots Champion Award for the state of New Jersey on May 18 at the New Jersey Hospital Association Board of Trustees Meeting. This award recognizes hospital leaders who are tireless advocates on behalf of hospitals and patients.

Coldwell Banker Preferred’s Moorestown office announced its top affiliated sales associates for 2015. At the recent companywide event, Vickie Sewell was recognized into the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle for ranking in the top 6 percent of the company. Sewell was also named the Top Individual Agent at the Moorestown office. Louise Carter and Gina Kassak were welcomed into the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society for ranking in the top 12 percent of the company worldwide.

Investors Bank expanded by welcoming aboard Vice President Business Leading Cynthia Murphy. Murphy spent the past seven years as vice president and business banking relationship manager at Santander.

Dorfner Family Medicine has been welcomed by Jefferson Health to the Jefferson Community Physicians. The alignment will expand the access to Jefferson primary care and strengthen the continuation of care with Jefferson services and specialties to South Jersey residents.

The Evergreens community welcomes a new Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance in Thomas J. Burke of Moorestown. Burke assumed the position of Gerald Magid who retired after serving in the positions for eight years.

McLaughlin Asset Management’s Walter A. Eife, director of retirement plans, has earned a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant from the National Association of Plan Advisors. Eife was recognized for his proficiency in retirement planning, administration and regulatory compliance.

M&T Bank has appointed Alle Ries as their regional Community Reinvestment Act officer for New Jersey. Ries comes from La Casa de Don Pedro in Newark where she served as director of community and economic development division and chief operating officer of Don Pedro development.

Business Committed to Burlington County, a nonprofit organization promoting commercial growth, has changed its name to Business Committed to South Jersey and has expanded. Continuing to work within its original goals, the organization will now reach beyond Burlington County and throughout South Jersey.

South Jersey Federal Credit Union presented representatives from the Gloucester County Parks and Recreation Department with a $1,000 check to sponsor the Children’s Summer Rec Program. The recreational program offers different programs at various locations for children throughout the summer.
